Please note: Focus adjustments are for iOS devices only.
Adjusting Focus
Left-click on the exact point where you want your camera to focus. A red square will appear in the view-finder to show the exact spot you choose. Re-click or drag the square to make adjustments.
NOTE: Adjusting the focus is only supported on the BACK camera of any iPhone and the front cameras of iPhones 12s. The front-facing camera of all other iPhone models (the "selfie camera") will auto-focus on it's own. When you click to focus on the front camera, OR Capture 1.0 will let you know the action is rejected.
The AF (AutoFocus) lock will toggle on once you set the focus on the back camera. You can adjust the focus even when this is locked; the lock just ensures that the camera will not try to refocus during the shoot.
NOTE: This will only happen on the back camera of a phone, the back camera on the phone has the ability to click to focus & lock focus. The front camera (selfie camera) will always auto-focus. Click to focus and focus lock are not available features on the front camera.
