When recording a webcam Subject using a Mac or PC, audio can be captured using the computer's built-in microphone, an external microphone (USB or TRRS), or bluetooth headphones/headsets.
*Note: If the Subject is using a microphone with a TRRS connection, compatibility is dependent upon their computer's audio jack. Some computers do not support audio input from this connection.
Choosing a Microphone
Before the Subject enters the session, their web browser (Chrome or Firefox) will prompt them to Allow access to the Microphone.
After choosing Allow, they can select which microphone they would like to use from the drop down menu. Then click Enter Session.
When the Subject is in the session, they can change the selected microphone from the drop down menu as needed. They can also Mute their microphone by moving the toggle to the left position.
