The platform maximum for recording Subjects is 8. But, you can also enable recording on either the Director's or one Collaborator's video feed. Directors and Collaborators must join by computer and their video can be captured at a maximum resolution of 1080p if their webcam supports it.
*Please note:
- You must have at least one Subject device in the Session to enable Director/Collaborator feed recording.
- The Director/Collaborator you wish to record must be the person who presses the Record button. You cannot enable recording on another Director/Collaborator's feed.
How To Record a Director or Collaborator Feed:
Click on the gear icon in the bottom left corner of the Director's preview to adjust the Frame Rate and Resolution (device dependent).
With a Subject device paired into the Session, click Record at the bottom of their preview screen.
From the "Create a video" pop-up box, toggle the Director feed to the Record position. You can also toggle off any Subject devices that you do not wish to record. When ready, click Start Recording.
When you are finished with the take, click Stop in the Subject's preview screen.
Because the Director/Collaborator feed is a webcam recording, the Upload will start automatically when Recording stops. The recorded file will appear in the Session Clips area and an upload progress bar will appear for the person being recorded. They will need to remain in the Session until the upload completes, the same as a webcam Subject.
