OpenReel’s Remote Capture capabilities are now available in more than 125 countries!

With Global Access, distributed teams are empowered to film content via remote control and capture settings through their computer, tablet, or smartphone from almost anywhere in the world.

Video teams can then use OpenReel to direct, collaborate, script, and capture up to 4K video in real time locally on the device — regardless of their location or bandwidth — and immediately upload it to secure cloud storage.

International Recordings

iPhone/iPad recordings:

In order for a remote iPhone or iPad  to successfully join a room, the device’s settings must be set to English. Any phones that are not set to English may experience issues with joining the room. 

Webcam recordings:

To successfully record someone internationally via a webcam, it is best practice to ensure that the subject does not have any browser extensions or VPNs that would potentially block access. Please refer to this webcam subject setup article for more details on prepping a computer prior to recording.
