Changing the Color of the Font and the background on the teleprompter
By default, the teleprompter will display as a white background with black text.
Depending on your subject's preference, the director also has the ability to change the color of both the background and the text.
Black Background, White Text
OpenReel includes a shortcut to change the background to black and the text to white. Simply click the "text" button in the top left hand corner of the teleprompter window. Press save and send to send your changes to the phone.
Changing to Any Color
The director can also choose any background and any text color they want! Select the eye drop icon above the script title and choose a background color. To change the text color select the eye drop icon under the script title. Press save and send to send your changes to the phone.
Changing to A Transparent Background
If the subject wants to see themselves and the script at the same time, the director has the option to have a transparent background, the script will be an overlay over the video feed.
NOTE: Using the video overlay feature can be distracting for your subject, because they sees themselves and the script the screen can look busy and distract them from reading/performing.
